  • Now hiring! HBE 360 Administrative Assistant (full-time)
    The ideal candidate for the HBE 360 full-time administrative assistant position will have exceptional organizational, technical, and process skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple project simultaneously. Proficiency with general office technology and software, including all MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint), is required. Primary duties will include process/e-file payroll; sales & use tax returns, 1099 and W2 annual information returns; process, secure, and issue financial statements and related documentation; restore QuickBooks files as needed; monitor projects and due dates; establish rapport with team members and clients, and handle sensitive and confidential information. This individual will also provide additional assistance to the administrative staff group.
  • Administrative Assistant (full-time, part-time, or seasonal)
    The ideal candidate for a full-time administrative assistant position will have exceptional organizational, technical, and process skills as well as the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proficiency with general office technology and software, including all MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint), is required. In addition to answering phones (multiple phone line system), establishing rapport with team members and clients, and handling sensitive and confidential information, this individual will also perform other clerical duties as needed.
  • Now hiring!  Senior Accountant
    The ideal candidate for a full-time Senior Accountant position will have at least 4-6 years of tax and/or audit experience. Individuals interested in applying for this position must be highly motivated and possess the analytical and interpersonal skills necessary to assign work, manage progress, and meet deadlines. A Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or Bachelor’s Degree plus requisite accounting coursework is required. Nebraska CPA license preferred.
  • Now hiring! Senior Tax Accountant (full-time, part-time, or seasonal with remote office opportunities)
    The ideal candidate for a full-time Senior Accountant position will have at least 4-6 years of tax experience. Individuals interested in applying for this position must be highly motivated and possess the analytical and interpersonal skills necessary to assign work, manage progress, and meet deadlines. A Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or Bachelor’s Degree plus requisite accounting coursework is required. Nebraska CPA license preferred.
  • Now hiring! Staff Accountant
    The ideal candidate for a full-time Staff Accountant position will have 2-4 years of accounting experience and possess a willingness to develop as both a tax and assurance professional. A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in accounting or related field is recommended. Candidates who have completed college level coursework to fulfill the requirements to sit for the Nebraska State CPA Exam are preferred.
  • Now hiring! Client  Accountant (3-5 years experience)
    HBE Client Accountants primarily perform “hands on” client-specific financial and accounting functions of varying complexity. The ideal candidate for a full-time Client Accountant position will have a high attention for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple client relationships simultaneously. 3-5 years of experience in an accounting role is recommended. Bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, payroll tax, and QuickBooks or similar accounting software experience is required.
  • Client Controller
    The ideal candidate for Client Controller will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work in fast-paced customer service oriented environment. A minimum of five years performing “hands on” client-specific work with a working knowledge of bookkeeping, accounts receivable/payable, sales tax, and general ledger is required. This position works with a team and will include responsibilities for staff supervision and training. Qualified candidates must possess the ability to adapt to and work with multiple accounting programs.
  • Now hiring! Seasonal Tax Preparer/Reviewer (full-time, part-time, or seasonal with remote office opportunities)
    The ideal candidate for a Seasonal Tax Preparer/Reviewer position will have experience in providing tax services to individuals as well as businesses throughout a variety of industries. The individual in this position will primarily be responsible for preparing and reviewing tax returns and tax projections and researching technical issues. The position provides support to HBE during the traditional tax busy season of January 1- April 15. A minimum of 3-4 years of experience in public accounting with an emphasis in taxation is required.
